Who We Are
Green the Future Programme (GRETFUP) is a youth-led, community-based organization championing environmental conservation and climate resilience in West Pokot County, Kenya. We address the complex climate challenges facing rural communities through nature-based and locally driven solutions.
Our Vision: A well-protected environment, inhabited by dignified people with sustainable livelihoods.
Our Mission: To build a greener and more sustainable future by empowering communities through environmental protection, sustainable livelihoods, and climate resilience.

Community-led reforestation, biodiversity conservation, soil & water conservation interventions, and sustainable land management to curb desertification.
Climate-smart agriculture training, drought-resistant crops, early warning systems, water security interventions, and livelihood diversification programmes.
Solar technologies, biogas systems, clean cookstoves, mobile agro-advisory apps, GIS monitoring, drip irrigation, and youth-led green innovation hubs.
